Flying Butterfly Surprise - rubber band powered flying Butterfly
These lovely Flying Butterflies give you a nice surprise when you open a greeting card, book, or just when you release them from your fingers.
Set it free and the rubber band power takes over to make the wings spin and it flutters away.... You can put a kink or fold in the wings to give them greater lift.
Please be aware that some people may be startled when they first see the butterfly escaping.
The body of the butterfly is a flexible plastic so it's not going to damage anything in flight.
The wings are printed art paper, so flexible and light.
Includes:
Rubber band
Double sided self adhesive tape (for attaching the printed wings to the body and wing ribs)
Easy assembly required
Tools needed: Scissors to cut tape strip
Dimensions: (when assembled) approx 147mm wingspan x 100mm overall length
Although assembly is very straight forward and self evident, you can download an instruction PDF I wrote here.
